DISTRESSED FARMERS OF MAHARASHTRA COMMITING SUICIDE

A golden way of approach for the problems of farmers of Maharashtra.

Here it would get a direction, way as a solution to the various problems of farmers in distress.

Objectives of Shivar helpline:

• Prominently, the farmers need to be helped at the Social, family, economical, educational, political and administrative and farming (method adopted in the agricultural) levels and all such issues should be handled by a system which is not in place today. So integrating all above issues at one stage is our first objective.
• To stop the suicide and control it, all the available platforms, government schemes related to above needs are to be propagated, advertised properly to reach the affected ones.
• Our schemes would evolve a system and would thereby work as a link between the Govt. schemes, administration and the affected ones for better implementation.
• Our system would not only help them about the knowledge & information about the social organizations working for the benefit of farmers but also co-ordinate, facilitate between the receivers and the provider.
• Social, political, administrative and family counseling would be provided and in accordance with the need of farming, it would be implemented to sort out the hassles faced by the farmers.
• The various problems at the individual level of village, Taluka and district levels would be solved at the particular level itself.
• In short it would take a form of agitation contributing/helping the farmers to provide them answers of each of their questions at their own levels.
